🛠Labour Day edition: AI Ethics, Edge-First Stacks, and AEO
People are super hyped about self-driving GPT workflows, but some folks are worried about keeping things under control and avoiding biases. Have fun this week celebrating Labour Day by not working.
Looks like there's a push for self-driving GPT workflows. On the flip side, LessWrong and Platformer are raising concerns about keeping things under control and bias creeping in. And Simon Willison's survey is giving us a peek into what people are focusing on with AI research right now.
In 2025, we'll likely see more money spent on edge runtimes, Cloudflare pushing full-stack apps on Workers, Remix speeding up React-Router's lazy loading, Vercel considering changing Next.js rendering, and Google's Privacy Sandbox making server performance a bigger deal.
Due to AI overviews, the marketing landscape is transitioning to answer-engine optimization, requiring new tools and approaches. AI is being adopted for prospecting, while domain warm-up and Reddit's emerging trust signals are becoming important. Brands need to build visibility to avoid being overlooked in this evolving environment.
